ACP-100 - ACCELERATED COMPACTDISC PLAYER

HTML

What's all this for?
This is the homepage of the ACP-project, a homebrew compactdisc player that
allows to alter the playback-velocity in realtime. A normal, analogue turntable
is used as input for the playback velocity. The ACP allows not only to alter the
velocity using the pitch-fader on the turntable, but makes it also possible to
scratch or even reverse your cd.

This site also features some detailed descriptions and photos for the Technics SL-Q2 direct drive
turntable. It also gives all neccessary information to install a professional, low cost pitch-fading unit
into to it to convert your SL-Q2 just into a SL-1210.

This homepage is kept up-to-date on an irregular basis, depending on the progress
in the project. For better navigation, the document is splitted in several subparts.
As often as possible I try to post pictures, where this is useful.
Best regards, Torsten Dietrich.

This project was dropped and will not be continued, due to other, more recent projects.
